The first thing that should be known about the new website Mainqq is that it is a “virtual poker room”. This means that there are no real live players on the site. This is quite a change from the mainstay of poker that we see today and is sure to be welcomed by many players. There are many poker sites out there and I have played a number of them, so I can say that this one is not as bad as the rest, but does have some flaws that should be noted.
It is easy to tell that this online poker site has been designed by a beginner. They have used flash in many of their games and the graphics are very basic. I am not sure if this is the fault of the programmer or if the designer is just new to poker, but I do know that they are a bit too laid back with some of the aspects of the site. You should expect to have to login with a username and password and that is about all.
The biggest downfall to this site is that they have not developed any live online poker tournaments. If you are looking for a place to play for money then you should check out PokerStars. That is what this site is all about, and if they can’t do it there then it is difficult to see why they have chosen to go with an inferior service.
I am not saying that all online poker rooms are inferior. Some of them are really good, but the competition is stiff and they do not always have the best payouts. They might have better odds, but they are not as good at providing high quality games that you would expect to see in a real casino.
The main problem with Mainqq is that there is not enough variety. There are only two games that they have and that is Texas Hold em and Omaha Hi/Lo. Other games such as five cards and Omaha No Limit may be available, but it seems to be limited to the ones that they offer. If you are a beginner to online poker then this is a site that you should look into. I am sure that you will like the games and it will be a place that you will want to visit on a regular basis.
